Customer Information
Service Call & Diagnostic Policy
Tiger Appliance Repair charges a service-call fee for a technician to visit the property and diagnose the appliance.
Service Call & Diagnostic Fee
The service-call and diagnostic fee is non-refundable.
This fee covers the technician’s travel to the service location, time, inspection of the appliance, diagnostic work, and explanation of the findings.
Once the service visit or diagnostic service has been provided, the service-call fee remains payable and non-refundable regardless of whether the customer chooses to proceed with the recommended repair.
The service-call and diagnostic fee also remains non-refundable if the appliance is determined to be uneconomical to repair, if additional parts need to be ordered, if the repair cannot be completed during the initial visit, or if the customer later decides not to proceed with the repair after diagnosis.
What the Service Call Includes
- Technician travel to the service location
- Inspection of the appliance
- Diagnosis of the reported problem
- Explanation of the findings
- Repair estimate when a repair can be reasonably determined
If You Approve the Repair
If you approve the repair and Tiger Appliance Repair completes it, the service-call fee is included in the total repair price. You won’t pay a separate service-call fee.
Applying the service-call fee toward an approved repair reduces the remaining repair balance; it does not refund the original service-call or diagnostic fee or make that fee refundable.
If You Decline the Repair
If the customer decides not to proceed with the recommended repair after the service visit or diagnosis, the service-call or diagnostic fee remains payable and non-refundable.
Multiple Appliances
A separate diagnostic charge may apply when more than one appliance requires diagnosis during the same visit.
